Partner with ASLA and the Annual Give Thanks Walk for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Want to be a part of something important? Join the TN ASLA | UTK Student Chapter and their efforts to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We are striving to raise a minimum of $1500 for the St. Jude ‘Give Thanks Walk’ which takes place on November 23rd at the Knoxville Zoo and all over the U.S.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is always pushing the efforts for curing childhood cancer through their efforts in cancer research. They also serve as a blessing to a multitude of families across the U.S. and those needing assistance in the Knoxville area. Should families not have the ability to pay for services, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital opens their doors and provides the assistance at no cost. If you are thankful for the friends and family members in your circle of life, give thanks for their health by joining UTK ASLA and our efforts to raise as much money as possible!

Here’s the lowdown on how to join our team:

Simple right?

1. Go here to view and JOIN our team profile.

2. CREATE your own profile page with info and fundraising goal. I have informally set our student organization goal at $1500. I know that we can accomplish this.

3. Start fundraising by ASKing people to donate and directing them to our site. Post our link or your profile on Facebook and other social media sites to generate traffic.

We will be meeting at the Knoxville Zoo on Saturday November 23rd to support St. Jude and come together as one. Admission is free all day for those participating. It will be a great day.

If you have any questions about this event or about how to set up your St. Jude account feel free to give me a call at 865-278-4365 or e-mail me .

Thank you in advance for joining our team and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! Remember the best way to get involved is to donate your own funds and set the example.
