As designers, we create space. In this, we deploy means of design ranging from form-making to the application of texture to the surface. Texture resonates with one’s memory. The feel of soft leather wrapped handrail at Finlandia Hall to the smooth texture of the concrete of the Art and Architecture building. The space is transformed by the texture of its surfaces.
Instead of googling until your fingers fall off, here are a few places where you can get some wonderful textures.
